How to find JPL

When you get to JPL, there is a guard station in the middle of a traffic circle that will check you in. After this proceed straight (don't make a right turn at the street the goes down a hill). When you approach the lab, you will see another guard station. Immediately before it the visitor parking lot is off to the left, the entrance is at about a 45 degree angle relative to the main road coming in. I believe it is marked Visitor Parking so it should be easy to find and will be the first parking lot you will see. When you park there, proceed to the parking entrance and there is a cross walk across the road. The guard station will be on your left. After crossing the road, the Visitor Center (might be called visitor control) is immediately in front of you. Enter this building and check in.

Bill or another person will be there to meet and escort people to the conference room.

We can go for lunch to the JPL cafeteria which is very close to our conference room.

There aren't any problems with bringing in a lap top. JPL does have guest wireless.

The conference dinner will be at "Saladang Song", a Thai restaurant in Pasadena, on Thursday 5 December at 7 p.m.

For traveling from Pasadena (or wherever you stay) to JPL, you'll probably need a rental car. I can offer two seats in my rental car for a lift between Pasadena and JPL. Please contact me (the first two emails that come in will be the winners!). Maybe you can do similar arrangements among those of you traveling together.
